Welcome to Don Mills Music Studio!

Welcome to Don Mills Music Studio, the music studio of Derrick Lewis and Meri Dolevski-Lewis! We are an independent music studio based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) that primarily serves students in the Don Mills and nearby neighbourhoods, which include Leaside, Pape Village, East York, Thorncliffe Park, Flemingdon Park, Bayview, Willowdale, and parts of downtown Toronto. However, we have and have had students travel to our studio who travel all the way from Brampton, Whitby, and Newmarket.

We offer lessons in piano, clarinet, organ, trombone, music theory, ear training, improvisation,composition, and arranging. We teach students from beginners to ARCT level. We also have referrals for teachers of several other instruments available.

We welcome students from 4 years old and up; so far our oldest student was 85 years old when he started lessons. 

We welcome students with a wide range of abilities, from the intellectually challenged to the highly gifted.

We strive for students to achieve excellence in their music studies, such as through exams offered by The Royal Conservatory of Music, but, at the same time, having fun by using technology to enhance their learning experience, such as learning some ear training and theory on a laptop computer as well as making audio/video recordings.
